One Hungarian Word a Day boosts your vocab in a fun and engaging way (for Free).
What can you expect from One Hungarian Word a Day?
Every weekday we’ll handpick and send you one Hungarian word with all the necessary information to improve your learning experience: We’ll put it in example sentences, give you advice on when and how to use it and tell you how you should pronounce it. We’ll even wrap it in a quiz for you to make sure the words stick in your memory forever.
Every Sunday is Summary Sunday, where you’ll have the opportunity to recap the learned words and to let your creative genius shine by building a cool and funny sentence with the words of the week.
What kind of Hungarian words are we talking?
We will focus on the most common words of the Hungarian language (basic words) but every now and then we will spice it up with additional categories such as:
- Conversational connectors
- Colloquial Speech and Slang (this is where the occasional swearing will fall into)
- Phrases & Expressions
- Words with double or triple meaning (multiple birds with one word).
These categories aim to bring variety into your learning process and prepare you to speak in a street-smart way.
Why should I subscribe to One Hungarian Word a Day?
First of all, this is a tried and tested method for learning new vocab. We’d love to boast with how we invented it, but it wouldn’t be true, since a lot of people have done this before us for other languages.
Second, you just need to commit five minutes of your day to boost your vocabulary long-term and with relevant Hungarian words. Everyone has five minutes and everyone checks their emails at least once per day, so we can easily call this “effortless learning”.
Third, because this is a great and free opportunity to learn the basic vocabulary as well as some hands-on Hungarian words and phrases that your textbooks and dictionaries didn’t tell you about.
What’s the Catch?
There’s none. We won’t spam you, ever, and you can unsubscribe anytime, delete all our mails and never come back.
Sounds good? Let’s get you on board!
