Tovább – further

tovább

Fun Fact:

Before Hungarian kids graduate and leave high school at the age of 18, they walk through every class room of their school receiving flowers, good wishes and cash from their mates and families. While walking, they sing “Tovább, tovább, tovább…” which is a symbolic act of showing how life goes on and how it’s time to take the next steps towards getting older.

The celebration is called “Ballagás” (meaning “roaming” or “strolling”).
